Welcome to CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES. These Website Terms & Conditions govern the use of our nanny, babysitting, childcare, and on-demand childcare services across Cape Town, South Africa. By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below.


1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES.

  • “Client” refers to any parent, guardian, individual, or organization booking childcare services.

  • “Nanny” refers to the caregiver assigned through CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES.

  • “Services” refers to all childcare, babysitting, nanny placement, mobile childcare, mall childcare, hotel childcare, and event childcare services offered by the company.


2. Booking Policy

2.1 All bookings are subject to nanny availability.

2.2 Clients are encouraged to book in advance to secure preferred dates and times.

2.3 Emergency or last-minute bookings may be accepted depending on availability.

2.4 A booking is only confirmed once payment or deposit requirements have been completed.

2.5 Clients must provide accurate booking information, including:

  • Child/children’s ages

  • Location

  • Service duration

  • Emergency contact details

  • Special requirements or medical information


3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment must be made before or at the start of the service unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES reserves the right to request deposits for advanced or extended bookings.

3.3 Late payments may result in cancellation of future services.

3.4 Additional charges may apply for:

  • Overtime hours

  • Public holidays

  • Travel outside standard service areas

  • Overnight childcare

  • Special requests

3.5 Hourly packages begin from the agreed booking start time and continue until the completion of the service.


4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking may qualify for rescheduling.

4.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking may result in partial or full cancellation fees.

4.3 No refunds will be issued once childcare services have already commenced.

4.4 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to emergencies, unsafe conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.


5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Clients must provide a safe and suitable environment for the nanny and child.

5.2 Parents or guardians must remain reachable during the booking period.

5.3 Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, behavioral concerns, or special care requirements relating to the child.

5.4 Clients are responsible for providing necessary child-related items including:

  • Food and snacks

  • Diapers and wipes

  • Medication (with clear instructions)

  • Emergency contact information

5.5 Children remain under the legal responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.


6. Nanny Services

6.1 Our nannies provide childcare support including supervision, feeding assistance, play activities, homework assistance, and basic child-related care.

6.2 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES does not permit nannies to:

  • Administer medication without parental consent

  • Perform unsafe tasks

  • Transport children without prior agreement

  • Provide services outside agreed childcare duties

6.3 Nannies are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times.


7. Mobile, Mall & Public Childcare Services

7.1 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES offers mobile and on-demand childcare services within agreed public spaces.

7.2 Parents or guardians must clearly communicate meeting points and collection arrangements.

7.3 Children may not be left in unsafe or unauthorized areas.

7.4 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES reserves the right to refuse services in environments considered unsafe or unsuitable.


8. Health & Safety

8.1 The health and safety of children remain our highest priority.

8.2 Clients must not book services if children have contagious illnesses without prior notice.

8.3 In the event of a medical emergency, CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES or the nanny may seek emergency assistance when necessary.

8.4 Clients authorize emergency medical treatment where immediate action is required.


9. Liability

9.1 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES takes reasonable care in screening and selecting professional caregivers.

9.2 While every effort is made to provide safe and professional childcare services, CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES shall not be held liable for:

  • Injuries caused by pre-existing medical conditions

  • Accidents beyond reasonable control

  • Loss or damage of personal property

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or emergencies

9.3 Clients agree to use the company’s services at their own discretion.


10. Privacy & Confidentiality

10.1 All personal information shared with CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES will be handled confidentially.

10.2 Client information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.

10.3 Clients agree not to misuse or distribute private information relating to CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES staff members.


11. Conduct & Respect

11.1 CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior toward staff.

11.2 The company reserves the right to terminate services immediately if unsafe or disrespectful conditions arise.


12. Amendments

CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.


13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using services provided by CAPE CARE NANNY SERVICES, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
